Gentamycin Sulfate

Gentamycin Sulfate is a glycoside bactericidal antibiotic made by linking amino sugars and ligands. It is gentamicin sulfate, and its antibacterial spectrum is similar to that of kanamycin. It is mainly used for systemic or local infection caused by gram-negative bacteria such as Escherichia coli, Shigella, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Proteus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Ophthalmology is used for conjunctivitis and keratitis. Orally, it can be used for intestinal infection or preparation before colon surgery; it can also be used together with metronidazole or clindamycin to reduce colonic surgical infection rate.
